Rita Dominic Joins Gender Equality Bill Protest In Lagos [Photo]

Rita Dominic, Laila St Matthew Daniel and other women hit the streets of Lahos yesterday to protest the Gender Equality Bill which was rejected by the Senate.

The protest was organised by Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) and took place at Alausa, Ikeja near the Governor’s office.

Rita is a well respected feminist who fights for womens rights. The fiercely private actress who keeps her personal life away from the media, has never publicly revealed the identity of any man in her life.

She shared a photo of the protest on Instagram with the caption,

A new movie from the stable of Adonis Productions is set to take Nigeria by storm. The movie titled 76 starring Ramsey Nouah, Ibinabo

Fiberesima, Chidi Mokeke and many others will hit cinemas across Nigeria before June 2016.

It is centered around the story of a young soldier from the Middle Belt who gets entangled in a romance and eventually marries a student from the South-Eastern part of Nigeria.

Their budding romance is threatened by endless military postings, and they face the ultimate test when news of the soldier’s involvement in a botched coup attempt hits the headlines.
