Joshua of Keche fame has descended heavily on Hiplife artiste, Tinny over comments the later made way back in 2013 that lyrics of songs do not make sense anymore.
Tinny who was speaking in an interview with Flexxy on ETV Ghana in 2013, cited Keche’s Aluguntugui song as an example of songs whose lyrics make no sense.
Below is what Tinny said:
“NOWADAYS, LYRICS IN SONGS DOESN’T ADD UP. SONGS NOWADAYS LACK GREAT LYRICAL DEXTERITY. WE’VE LOST ORIGINALITY. CONSIDER LYRICS LIKE “GIRL NA POZZY S3 YOOYI”, I’VE NEVER SEEN A LADY WHO HAS POSED LIKE “YOOYI” BEFORE, SO NOWADAYS LYRICS IN SONGS DON’T ADD UP ANYMORE.”
After almost 3 years, Keche has decided to respond to the shade by Tinny. According to Bigtriceonline, Joshua one-half of the Keche group was on Pluzz Fm, and in responding to the issue, indicated that the group decided not to reply Tinny at the time he made the comment because their song was fresh and they didn’t want any controversy.
He stated that Tinny lacks the moral right to question the lyrics of their song since his Makola Kwakwe song makes no sense. He further indicated that even though he loves Tinny, Tinny’s brand is dead
“WHAT WAS THE SENSE IN TINNY’S ‘MAKOLA KWAKWE SONG? THAT SONG, THE LYRICS DON’T EVEN MAKE SENSE. I LOVE TINNY TO THE BONE, HE WAS ONE OF THE PEOPLE I REALLY ADMIRED WHILST GROWING UP. TINNY’S BRAND IS EVEN DEAD,” HE SAID.
