The current artiste of the year, Stonebwoy Burninton has been exposed to public ridicule concerning his limping leg, which was as a a result of an accident he had some years ago. He had lived with this challenge throughout these years and has come to the realization he has to combat it out.
This challenge has caused Stonebwoy a lot of pain but his determination and hard work kept him going. He didn’t see it as a reason for a set back but rather,motivation to push further to achieve his dreams.
Some few weeks ago,the Go Higher monster hit singer performed at the launch of Live Fm and one gentleman mimicked his style of walking,which got him very furious,thus throwing the microphone into the crowd as he walked off the stage.
The current BET International Act winner who never gives up,left for Germany to have a surgery. He confirmed he is done with that,but undergoing a physiotherapy section where he will be able to walk normally in 3 months as he used to some years ago.
These are Stonebwoy’s words at the MTN Pulse Turn Up Concert which took place at the Accra Sports Stadium yesterday March 4th 2016. “Big up every hustler, big up every real person. We have been through life, accident, surgery, operation, we have been through it all, that’s why we know life. So I say big up every body who no dey laugh at a brother, but to feel his pain. Yeah, okay you see say them dey call…..i no dey Ghana right?. I go Germany i go do my knee, i show them say look i go fit do am. You understand? I show them say i do fit do am. It no be nothing.
But i love the way i dey live and i love the people i dey inspire. So make i show you. You see this my knee? First it no dey bend, now you dey see? I dey do physiotherapy. I do the surgery finish, now i dey do physiotherapy. In the next three months i go dey walk like normal you people, whey it go pain you. You dey see? You dey see? Them dey fool fool themma self!”
