How Did Ghanaian Designers Miss Out On Styling Abraham Attoh To The Oscars?

The Young Ghanaian actor who presented an award at the Academy Awards, Oscars arrived on the red carpet making a fashion statement that has people in Hollywood talking. The event which has been criticized around the world for being marked as a racially exclusive award ceremony ended up seeing a young Ghanaian Abraham steal the show at the red carpet.

Nevertheless, the brilliant young man who made his country proud was seen sparkling on the red carpet in a tuxedo and TOMS shoes. It seems he made more than just a fashion statement. According to Abraham Attah who spoke to E! correspondent Ryan Seacrest, the shoe brand will donate 10,000 pairs of shoes to the people of Ghana.

The for-profit shoe brand donates a pair of shoes to children in need for every pair sold. There couldn’t have been a better choice. Now let’s talk about the tuxedo! As beautiful as he looked, why wasn’t the young man in Abrantie The Gentleman’s clothing or in Kustom Looks or in Elikem The tailors wear? At least a kente bow tie would have said much.
Last years, Elikem the Tailor crafted some amazing menswear tuxedos with a hint kente. So whose fault is it that the young man didn’t go with our talent? is it the designers did not reach out to the kid? Or is it the kid did not reach out to the designers? Or is it that one did reach out and the other party rejected? Oh gosh I have no idea how these things work, but he should have been on that red carpet with a Ghanaian brand.

I myself have never watched beast of no nation, as I avoid watching slavery and war torn African movies, however I’ve heard numerous compliments regarding his performance. On that note, we salute the young man highly and congratulate him on his new found success, as well as his generous statement with TOMS shoes..

Aspiring MP, Diamond Appiah Attacks Ameyaw Debrah Over Mzbel Saga

Singer and MP aspirant who was accused by musician Mzbel about creating a fake account on Instagram as Mzbelmusic_aids, reasons which we cant really be definite about.

Some few hours after that accusation,Diamond reacted saying she never created such account and that Mzbel paid some people to photoshop that image to tarnish her reputation.

Celebrity and entertainment blogger,Ameyaw Debrah published an article relating to that and added a screenshot an anonymous person sent to him,whom he thinks might be a friend or a fan of Diamond.

The screenshot of the image was an exact notification Mzbel received,which she claimed her ex-friend Diamond was the main brain behind. Diamond Appiah then took to her Instagram page to attack the blogger,saying they have never been friends,neither had she received any notifications from any of his publications on her timeline.

She wrote, “Ameyaw and I are not  Facebook friends n that is a screenshot of  his page when i searched for him on fb.I have never seen his daily posts or notifications on my timelines and vice versa and there is no way he can get a notification claiming is from me”.

Taking Ameyaw’s publications into consideration,he stated that the screenshot was sent to him by an anonymous person but then,Diamond misunderstood his post and attacked him as if he had taken the side of Mzbel.

One thing some celebrities and their fans should understand is that,when news like this pops up,we don’t just publish the articles because we hate the celebrities in question but then, that is our job;we give news to the public,whether good or bad,it doesn’t mean we try painting the person black or we hating on one party.

They shouldn’t always misunderstand some of our publications,but have some idea before attacking. BNI arrest man over alleged plot to kill Prez Mahama on 6th March

The Bureau of National Investigation (BNI) is holding one Mr Kwame Gyebi, a resident of Dzorwulu in Accra, on grounds of a planned assassination plot on President John Mahama.

Details of the case are sketchy but BNI officials say they are investigating.

However, security sources say the 33-year-old man was overheard saying the President will fall when delivering hisIndependence Day speech on March 6, insisting he knew exactly how that will happen.

BNI officials have confirmed Mr Gyebi was initially arrested by the Ghana Police on February 25, 2016 and handed over to them for further investigations.

They say investigations are ongoing to ascertain the motives behind Mr Gyebi’s pronouncement and whether he is acting alone or with others.
